Program Operations Coordinator

Em-Power Foundation is seeking a Program Operations Coordinator to support the delivery and coordination of our programs working with schools, communities and industry partners.

This role will help ensure our programs run smoothly and continue to create meaningful opportunities for First Nations young people.

The Program Operations Coordinator will support the delivery of initiatives including:

  • School programs, such as Native Food & Culture and Cultural Careers Expos

  • Employment transitions pathways programs

  • Community and industry partnerships supporting career pathways for First Nations people

The role will work closely with the Em-Power team, schools, community organisations and industry partners.

📍 Flexible location (with travel to program locations)

What You’ll Be Doing

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Coordinating program logistics and delivery

  • Supporting workshops and school-based activities

  • Liaising with schools, facilitators and community partners

  • Supporting the delivery of Cultural Careers Expos and other events

  • Assisting with program administration and reporting

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is organised, adaptable and passionate about supporting First Nations young people.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities

  • Experience delivering or supporting community or youth programs

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • Experience working with schools, community organisations or industry partners

  • Willingness to travel to program locations when required
