Who can apply?

NativeGrow is open to First Nations entrepreneurs who are actively developing or expanding a business in the native food, botanical, or agriculture sectors.

We are welcoming applications from those based in South Australia, Western Australia, the Northern Territory, or Victoria.

  • New native food products, such as condiments, chutneys, sauces, curry pastes, or jams

  • Innovative food and beverage offerings using native plant or animal ingredients — ready meals, protein bars, desserts, plant-based options, functional foods (e.g. for gut health, ageing, or children’s nutrition)

  • Native plant-based ingredients (e.g. powders, extracts) suitable for large-scale food manufacturing or health-related applications

  • Health, skincare and wellness products that draw on the healing or medicinal properties of native botanicals

  • Nutraceuticals or functional beauty products informed by native plant science

  • Circular economy solutions, such as upcycled or waste-reducing native food products

  • Sustainable agriculture innovations that improve environmental outcomes across the native food sector

  • New technologies that support the production, harvesting, or processing of native ingredients (e.g. improved wattle harvesting methods)
