Hub Details

The Gippsland region of Victoria was identified as an ideal location when forming a pilot hub under the Indigenous Women Entrepreneur & STEM Pathways Project.

There are many initiatives in the area connected to the native ag+food sector, with a keen interest from local communities, businesses and education institutes.

Throughout an extensive consultation process with the local community in the Gippsland region, there have been several potential projects identified. We are continuing to work with the stakeholders identified through the Gippsland hub, particularly Gunaikurnai Land and Waters Aboriginal Corporation (GLaWAC), who have been identified as the key stakeholder in Indigenous Community Engagement.

We hope to develop further project plans in 2023.
